About Us

The Burlington Masters Swim Club Inc. is a not for profit Corporation designated by the City of Burlington as the official supplier of Masters Swimming in the community.

Membership is open to individuals 18 years of age or older who are able to swim at least 50 metres continuously of any stroke.

Our training sessions, run by NCCP certified coaches, provide goal oriented training for both competitive and non-competitive swimmers of all levels.

For those interested in competing, there are local and regional meets run by other Masters swim clubs approximately every 6 weeks during the Regular Season.  Members are free to choose which meets they would like to attend.

The Club provides a background for friendship and camaraderie with respect for all individuals. Throughout the year, we run social functions, where our members and their significant others, can have fun and get to know each other better.

There are two groups (A and B group).  The groups are divided by swim times and length of sets.  Group practices are generally 2500 to 3000+ metres.  The B Group practices are generally 1800 to 2500 metres.  Both groups include stroke development/improvement.
