Record-Breaking Success for Lois Braffield-Petterson at the 2026 U.S. Masters Summer Nationals!

Please join us congratulating Lois Brafield-Petterson for her spectacular performance at the 2026 U.S. Masters Swimming Summer National Championship!

Lois traveled to Sacramento, California representing the Burlington Masters Swim Club at the National Natomas Aquatic Complex from August 5, 2026 to August 9, 2026.  Competing against top International talent in the Women's 60-64 age group in an intense outdoor long course venue. Lois truly made waves.  

Lois brought home a gold medal in the 100m backstroke, securing a first place finish! Lois added two silver medals and a bronze medal to her tally, alongside a fierce fourth place finish.

Even more historic, Lois broke two Ontario LCM age group records, setting new Provincial benchmarks in both the 50m and 100m Freestyle!

Your hard work, dedication and incredible speed are an inspiration to the entire club, Lois. BMSC is incredibly proud of you!
